These Stars Have Class (the school kind!)
Article provided by The CollegeBound Network
A celebrity's life may seem to be all glitz and glamour, but for these celebs, the daily grind once meant going to school like the rest of us. Here's what they have to say about their school days.

Claire Danes on juggling college and her acting career:

"I was very ambitious and optimistic when I started school--I assumed that I could just go to school and make a movie every summer, like clockwork. What was I thinking? Life does not work that way."

Actor Jack Black on his college days:

I was a theater major. It was important to go because if I didn't, I'd still be wondering if there was something I missed out on. I met some friends and it was fun--I was doing school plays, and then I did my own play with some friends. That's when I realized I could do it on my own.

Mila Kunis of That 70's Show, on her high school experience:

When I started attending school, my show had already started airing so people knew me as 'that girl from That 70's Show.' It's a little hard because they'd be like, 'Oh, she's on TV.' People always stereotype actresses only because they've never been acquainted with one. I have [made] friends there who have opened up a little to me. The true friends I still have [I had] from before high school. I don't go to high school to socialize. I go to learn."

Actor Seth Green, of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, on high school:

"All of high school was funny and embarrassing. I think I was humiliated on a daily basis until I decided to stop trying to fit in and start concentrating on my grades. I almost failed ninth grade, but my vice principal gave me a second shot. From the 10th-12th grade, I made the honor roll."

Pop singer and actor Christina Milian on college:

I did go to college for a little while, but I became really busy with music. I went half the semester and the other half I got too busy. In the future, I would love to go to college. There are a lot of things I want to do in the future other than being a recording artist or actress. I would love to direct some films, write, own a couple businesses, and own a record label. I'd love to take some business classes.

Jazz pianist and singer Peter Cincotti on attending college and making records:

"It's been very difficult juggling my student life [at Columbia University] and my jazz career. One week I'll have to study harder on my schoolwork, and vice versa--but the deans at the university are helping me through it."
